Time to crank it up
working on a gun now for 3D 3
I've chosen the K-50M, mainly used in the vietnamese war.
I'll take you (who-ever reads this and is interested) through my process by posting pictures. right now i'm working on the highpoly. by next week we'll be making it lowpoly in class. Then I'll have to normalmap the highpoly onto the lowpoly and generate a texture, a glossy and a specular map.

Sub Surface

It's alive!

my blog that it :D
deadlineweek is over, These past weeks me and my team have been working on subsurface. where you dive under into the depths of the sea and do missions by fixing tubes and such.
here's some screens. If crytek releases the rights I might even post a video. for now I've photoshopped out any referenes to other games.
